Roses Awards

I was very chuffed that this blog was given a ‘highly commended’ award at the Roses Older People in the Media Awards (organised by Independent Age) in the social media category, as runner up to the King’s Fund’s excellent blog. First time I’ve been up for an award alongside the Prime Minister  – although he won in the ‘thorn’ category for his ageist remarks towards veteran MP Dennis Skinner…. http://bit.ly/TZMnyo
